Requirements to Enroll in CDL School Las Vegas

    Requirements for CDL Training Courses

  • 21 years of age (18 years of age – INTRAstate only)
  • Valid NV Driver’s license
  • Social security card
  • DOT physical (medical certificate) – see notes below
  • Commercial learner’s permit

    STUDENT DRESS CODE

  • NO cutoff shirts or tank tops
  • NO inappropriate/obscene clothing
  • NO open toe shoes/sandals/flip-flops
  • NO unauthorized cell phone use during class sessions

DOT PHYSICAL

A physical is required by the Nevada Department of Transportation for all persons providing professional transportation services, including attendance at a CDL training school. You can visit:

For a list of DOT Certified Physicians in your area. You may search by zip code for the provider of your choice. Cost is approximately $50.00. Student must obtain the long form examination certificate and the “DOT Card” and provide documents to Truck U prior to enrollment.
